Vacancy Senior Product Manager


Work Description

Within NavInfo Europe you will be responsible, reporting to the Director of the Program Management Office.
Core Tasks • Develop and drive the product vision for NavInfo Europe Services,

• Evaluate current strategies, monitor business performance, initiate efforts to and develop/ or adjust strategies to elevate the NavInfo Europe’s services in both functionality and revenue;

• Achieve stakeholder alignment on increasing effectiveness significant product choices including strategic product features, product architecture, and significant technology choices;

• Define and execute a plan (product roadmap) to achieve ambitious revenue objectives;

• Create an overall value proposition of NavInfo Europe’s services;

• Establish and manage relationships with customers and partners;

• Manage POCs and interaction with customers and partners on product roadmap, customer escalation and selling NavInfo Europe’s value proposition;

• Ensure that the customer needs are addressed in the service offerings;

• Engage with various stakeholders from Research, Production   and Sales to drive product success. You are responsible for the timely delivery of current and new services;

• Drive continuous improvement of the quality and functionality of NavInfo Europe’s services in close cooperation with external and internal partners; targeting improvement of commercial performance

• Support the sales department during the quotation phase.

What we expect

• Our ideal candidate has 5+ years product management experience in a complex high-tech business across multiple locations, in the high-tech sector, ideally with a navigation device supplier, a map supplier, a route planning company, or telematics service supplier and has extensive network in the field.
• Technically Proficient. Motivated to learn more about company technology and products. Becomes a technical expert on any relevant area needed, and able to proficiently describe technical concepts to external parties;
• Project management, presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
• Experience in procurement is required.
• Business perspective/commercial acumen;
• Passionate about innovation and customer satisfaction;
• Creative about ways to get the job done efficiently.
• Completed relevant University Degree;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. (Dutch and/or German skills are a plus, Chinese is nice to have);
• Experience of working in an Agile environment is preferred;
• The role requires frequent travel up to 25%
• International business trips to customers and our mother company (NAVINFO) in China will be required on regular basis
