We work with an integral approach on topics related to Autonomous Driving, Smart Mobility, Smart Cities, Cybersecurity, and Mapping. Multiple disciplines like Control System Design, World modelling, Motion planning, Functional & operational safety, Sensor Fusion, V2V & V2X Communication, Electronics, Software Engineering, Assessment, Tooling etc. work together to bring life into the automated vehicle.

Responsibilities

Your responsibility is to ensure that Company technology is correctly deployed and used, from implementing new tools, equipment and processes, to providing training and support for the Team.
You will update and write documentation, drive continual improvement and share the knowledge among the team.
You will run in-office process and data checks to ensure that the results produced by the team are complete and correct.

Within NavInfo Europe you will be reporting to the Operational Manager responsible for Data Handling & Fleet management
You own and coordinate the team technical knowledge by ensuring that Tools and Documents are clearly shared and understood among the team. You plan and perform Trainings and Assessment, you are actively involved in the Data processing. You are engaged in the vehicle sensor testing, technology integration & maintenance.

Core tasks

• Understand and handle production processes
• Fine-tune and improve source data format and technology
• Verify and check collected data and deliverables data
• Cooperate with Project Manager to apply Company procedures, Tools, Methods and Specifications for the assigned activities and to produce Project Documentations to ensure defined Company standard requirements
• Set-up regular training programs to assure the knowledge in the Team within the Quality requirements
• Implement and continuously improve the Quality Plan to its full extend in the Team
• Drive continual improvement of methods, documentation and tools related to Database processes and Quality improvements
• Keep the knowledge Team always updated and shared.
• System (interface) specification, in-vehicle integration, testing and documentation of mechatronic systems
• In test vehicles and in laboratory (Software/Hardware-In-the-Loop)
• Coordinate the integration of software/hardware components
• Work closely with a variety of cross-functional, cross-geographical, and cross-cultural teams through all aspects of integration, including: make-or-buy evaluation, buying components, defining system requirements, maintenance, bug fixing.

• Both HW and SW hands-on skills;
• Good knowledge of GIS Mapping domain;
• Strong communication skills and cross-cultural adaptability;
• Solid experience working on documentation and reporting;
• Strong planning & organizing skills to effectively self-manage activities;
• Creative about ways to get the job done efficiently;
• Structured and result-oriented. Hard worker, highly motivated to learn, execute, deliver and be accountable for results;
• Proactively identify opportunities for self-improvement;
• Experience with coordinating technical teams;
• Experienced with testing and/or evaluation of road vehicles/robots and knowledge of relevant sensors;
• Interest in the development of autonomous driving systems and functions;
• Interest in Systems Engineering;
• Pro-active, able to work independently, well organized, team oriented and result driven;
• Highly proficient in English - written and spoken;
• Available for travelling if needed. A valid drivers’ license is requested.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive ISO requirements;
• Knowledge of distributed computing;
• Good knowledge of the German language;
• Knowledge of Dutch and/or Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
